November 29, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, revealed she was robbed over the weekend, as some thieves broke into her hotel room in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The music act took to Instagram to lament how some thieves got into her room and stole all the money they could find, while she was away performing.
Alade attended and performed at the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend a few days ago.
“A few minutes after I left my room, some unknown people decided to go through my things and steal all the money they could find, very good”, she wrote.
She responded to well-wishers who sympathised with her in the comment section and stated that an investigation was ongoing on the case.
“They are investigating, looking through cameras and all.
“The suspects are denying”, she added.
