November 12, (THEWILL) – Notable Nigeria entertainers, Temilade Openiyi, aka Tems, Ikuforiji Abdulraham, aka Oxlade and Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake, amongst others, have made the list of nominees for the 2022 MOBO award.
The award ceremony is an annual British presentation, honouring achievements in music of black origin.
Nominees for the 2022 award were announced on Friday, by the organisers.
Both Oxlade and Asake are jostling for the Best African Music Act category.
Tems and Burna Boy were nominated for the Best International Act category.
Adekunle Gold, Rema, Omah Lay, and Fireboy are all among Nigeria entertainers nominated for the award.
This year’s MOBO Awards will take place on November 30 at London’s OVO Arena.
