Saudi Authorities Release Another Nigerian Accused Of Drug Trafficking

BEVERLY HILLS, May 02, (THEWILL) – Saudi Arabia Authorities have released Ibrahim Abubakar to the Ag. Consul General, Nigerian Consulate, Jeddah.

Mai Abubakar Ibrahim was arrested for alleged drug trafficking, the same offence as Zainab H. Aliyu.

THEWILL recalls that Aliyu was recently released following an intervention ordered by President Muhammadu Buhari.

This was following a discovery that airport officers, in a cartel, were responsible for planting the drugs in the luggage of Aliyu.
