January 09, (THEWILL) – Cristiano Ronaldo may finally make his much-anticipated debut for Al Nassr in an upcoming friendly match against Paris Saint-Germain.
The 37-year-old soccer superstar recently joined the Saudi Arabian club, but has yet to take the field due to a suspension issued by the English Football Association.
However, Al Nassr coach Rudi Garcia has revealed that Ronaldo could make his debut as early as January 19 in a match against PSG, which will consist of a mix of players from Al Nassr and Al Hilal. This would be a historic moment for Ronaldo, as he would have the opportunity to face off against fellow soccer legend Lionel Messi and his team, Paris Saint-Germain.
While this friendly match would be a great opportunity for development and a chance to see some of the world’s greatest players in action, Garcia did mention that the team has a championship game just a few days later on January 22, and it remains to be seen if Ronaldo will be available for that match as well.
Regardless of when he makes his debut, Ronaldo’s arrival at Al Nassr has generated a great deal of excitement among soccer fans and it will be interesting to see how he performs with his new club.
