January 19, (THEWILL) – To reduce the burden on over 50 million people living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) globally, medical experts, drawn from different fields, will on Thursday, January 26, 2023, discuss the most recent advances in sickle cell management.
The renowned specialists, who are to make presentations at the webinar organised by Annomo Health, in collaboration with Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi and Moorfields Eye Hospital, Dubai, include Dr Zainul Aabideen CCT (U.K.), Head of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation, Dr Mansi Sachdev MD (US Board) Consultant Pediatric Hematolgy, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation and renowned Consultant Ophthalmologist, Dr Fahd Quhill.
The session tagged: “Sickle Cell Anaemia: Management and Treatment”, to be hosted by the Client Relations Director of Annomo Health, Dr F Osagie (USA based clinician), has been tailored to throw more light on, not only how to manage SCD, but equally how to handle the disease in a better way to avoid crisis.

According to Dr Menakaya, the aim of the webinar is to critically address the grey areas concerning people living with SCD and how it can be tackled in a better way.
