August 17, (THEWILL) – The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has paid a visit to Afrobeat singer, Femi Anikulapo-Kuti.
This visit comes days after Kuti declared that he is too angry to be ‘Obidient’, a reference to the supporters of Obi, who call themselves ‘Obidients’.
The music icon made a video where he revealed that followers of Obi have been abusing him and his family. He added that they threatened to burn down Afrika Shrine on allegations that he called Obi’s supporters zombies.
He also made it known that he didn’t call the followers of the Obi zombies as widely believed.
He added that he has never supported any political party and wouldn’t never do such.
Veteran entertainer, Charly Boy and Kuti’s son, Made, were both there to welcome the presidential candidate.
