Osinbajo Departs Abuja For Young Leaders Forum In Monrovia

January 16, (THEWILL) – Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has departed Abuja for Monrovia, capital of Liberia, to attend the ‘Emerging Young Leaders Forum’, hosted by his Liberian counterpart, Dr Jewel Howard-Taylor.

A statement by Laolu Akande, his spokesman, said Prof Osinbajo is the Special Guest of Honour at the forum tagged “Conversation with the Vice President and Young People.”

Osinbajo will also have a bilateral meeting with President George Weah of Liberia.

“At the forum which is part of activities marking the 60th birthday celebrations of Dr. Howard-Taylor, Prof. Osinbajo and other leaders from West Africa would interact with a group of selected 400 emerging leaders “sharing their growth, struggles, attainment, accomplishments and secrets,” according to information from the Office of the Liberian Vice President.”

“Vice President Osinbajo is accompanied by the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu and the Special Adviser to the President on Social Investment, Hajiya Mariam Uwais.

“He is expected back in Abuja later today”, the statement read.
