January 26, (THEWILL) – Barcelona Femení made history on Wednesday, January 25, by achieving a record-breaking 50th consecutive win in the league, sweetened by an Asisat Oshoala hattrick.

The team’s local rivals, Levante Las Planas, were no match for the powerhouse squad, with the final score ending at 7-0 in favour of Barcelona, as they achieved a record no football team had ever reached in football history.

The game, held at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, was filled with highlights and individual achievements. Goals were scored by Oshoala, and her player of the match trio of goals, a brace from Ana Maria Crnogorcevic, Vicky López, and Mariona Caldentey.
