Opu-Nembe Monarch Commiserates With UK Over Death Of Queen Elizabeth II

September 14, (THEWILL) – The Amanyanabo of Opu-Nembe (Bassambiri) Kingdom, His Majesty, King Biobelemoye Josiah, Ogbodo the 8th, has joined billions of mourners across the world to commiserate with the Royal Family and people of Britain, over the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Nembe Monarch, in a condolence message, described Her Majesty, the Queen of England, as one of the most important historical figures, who impacted the world positively.

King Josiah, on behalf of the Council of Chiefs, Leaders of Thought, and the entire people of Opu Nembe Kingdom, in Bayelsa State of Nigeria, says Her Majesty, during her 70-year reign, was an embodiment of values that were cherished all across the globe.

While offering his thoughts and deepest condolences to the King, the Queen Consort, the entire Royal Family, and the people of the United Kingdom, he described the late Monarch as a Queen of Hearts, whose unbreakable commitment to duty and service was a shining example to all.

He explains that her passing at the ripe age of 96 and having reigned for 70 years, the longest in the history of the British Monarchy, her legacies continue to live on.

The Amanyanabo of Opu Nembe offered his commiserations and congratulations to King Charles III, who took over from his late mother, expressing the willingness of the Nembe people to continue with the cordial and historical relationship with the British people.
