Ogun Deputy Gov. Donates Relief Materials To Stella Obasanjo Orphanage Home

Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. (Mrs) Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has donated a deep freezer, washing machine and other relief items to Stella Obasanjo Children’s Home, Abeokuta, the state capital.

The gesture was part of efforts to mark her 57 birthday with children of the orphanage home.

Salako-Oyedele, while speaking at the home, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for being alive, hale and healthy to celebrate another birthday especially with the children

She however thanked the management of the home, state executive members, family members, particularly her mum, staff of the office and all well wishers for celebrating her birthday with her.

The deputy governor also appreciated caregivers of the home led by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Funmi Efuape, for coming through at all times, praying that Almighty Allah reward them abundantly for their diligence.

“I’m happy to be here to celebrate my birthday and I want to thank you all for celebrating me. I pray that next year we will all be alive to witness another celebration,” she added

In her remarks, the mother of the celebrant, Alhaja Adebisi Salako, expressed her delight and thanked Almighty God for the gift of life, just as she prayed that God grant her daughter more grace and strength to live and fulfil God’s purpose for her life.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Efuape, thanked God in the life of the Deputy Governor, appreciating her for celebrating her birthday with the less-privileged, while also praying to God for long life, prosperity and more fruitful years.
