NSCDC Gets New Commandant In Sokoto, Seeks Public Support

February 03, (THEWILL) – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC, has deployed Bello Alkali Argungu, as the new Commandant of Sokoto state command.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the command’s public relations officer, DSC Hamza Adamu Illela and made available to journalists in the state.
The NSCDC spokesman noted that Argungu took over from CC Muhammad Saleh Dada, who was redeployed to Enugu State Command.
The statement said the newly posted Commandant has since taken over the mantle of leadership at the Command Headquarters during an event.
In his address the outgone commandant, CC Muhammad Saleh Dada, thanked the management and the entire staff for the support and the cooperation he enjoyed during his stay.
He enjoined all to extend the same to the present leadership while the new commandant, CC Argungu, thanked Almighty God and prayed for his guidance and protection in his new task.
He urged the management and the entire staff for absolute loyalty, support and cooperation to move the command forward.
The new Commandant, however, assured all sundry of his commitment to carry everybody along in the discharge of this herculean task.
He also reiterated his commitment in collaborating with sister agencies and all relevant stakeholders in maintaining peace and order in the state, especially, in this critical time of electioneering campaign.
He equally solicited for support from members of the public and assured them that as somebody, who is conversant with the traditions, norms and values of the state, these will be appreciated and respected.
