December 07, (THEWILL) – A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State, Chief Henry Onwe, said the upcoming 10th Senate of Nigeria, needs the brilliance of Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade.

Chief Onwe was speaking after the Governor’s public engagement at the Chattam House, London, with the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said the Governor’s framework and blueprint showcased teamwork and any government with intellectuals like him will succeed.

“This is the kind of brilliance the 10th Senate needs to take this nation to the pinnacle and to rightfully occupy its pride of place in the comity of great nations, where it actually belongs.

“The framework and blueprint presentation clearly showcase teamwork as any government that would succeed, has to work with a crop of intellectuals and professionals knowledgeable and versatile in critical sectors of the country, to ensure accelerated progress and development.

“I am proud and every other right-minded Cross Riverian should thump up our Governor in high esteem.

“He is held by the incoming President and without doubt, as the number three man in the country come 2023, our dear state stands to benefit immensely.

“We, therefore, as a progressive people, cannot take a leap in the dark while the bright light shines before us and beckons”, he said.
