January 11, (THEWILL) – SK Dynamo Eské Budjovice have officially announced the signing of talented Nigerian forward, Quadri Adebayo Adediran, via a statement on the club’s website.
Adediran, who joined from Dukla Prague in the second tier, is moving up to the Czech First League. The 22-year-old has signed a contract for three and a half years that will keep him in the southern region of Bohemia until June 30 of 2026. Adediran was only in Dukla Prague for a single season, but it was enough for his eye-catching football skills and his ability to finish in and around the penalty area of the opponent to attract attention.
Tomáš Zápotočný, the head coach of SK Dynamo Eské Budjovice, was pleased to have the opportunity to work with the excellent young player. Speaking about the signing, Zápotočný said: “He is a young boy and a great talent, very well equipped with speed and strength. I believe he will bring us a lot of goals. We know him from Dukla, with whom he played against us in Příbram. He is an unpleasant and predatory striker.”
Adediran hopes to emulate fellow countrywoman, Fortune Bassey, who rose to popularity among the supporters of Eské Budjovice before going on to Ferencváros. He remarked: “When he (Bassey) played for Dynamo, he played great. I hope to follow in his footsteps. Or maybe I’ll be even better.”
Adediran is the second winter acquisition for Dynamo. Marcel Ermák, a midfielder from another second-tier team, Pbram, had already been acquired by the South Bohemians prior to the deal that brought the Nigerian in.
