Young Girl From Lagos Explosion Site Rescued

BEVERLY HILLS, March 16, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian Red Cross says it’s officials have rescued a young girl simply known as Favour from the rubble at the Abule-Ado explosion site in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area.

This was disclosed by the Chairman, Nigeria Red Cross Society (NRCS) Lagos branch, Adebola Kolawole, who said Favour was found amidst the rubbles during rescue operations on Sunday night adding that her mother sustained a head injury from the incident and her brother too was injured.

Meanwhile, emergency management officials have recovered three more bodies as rescue operations continue at the scene of the explosion.

Officials of the Bethlehem Girls College confirmed the identity of the corpses to be workers of the school.
