Wizkid Wins Another International Award With Beyonce Collaboration

BEVERLY HILLS, March 26, (THEWILL) – Nigeria”s Wizkid is among winners at the 2021 NAACP Image Awards for his role in ‘Brown Skin Girl’, a 2019 song by Beyonce, American singer.

The song, which is a track off Beyonce’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ grabbed the ‘Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album’ category of the NAACP Image award on Thursday.

Beyonce, last year released the video of the project which also featured her daughter with Jay-Z and Saint JHN.

This development has made the song to have an impressive run for the song since it was released.

It also comes few days after the project fetched Wizkid his first-ever Grammy award.

THEWILL writes that the NAACP Image Awards is an event which rewards the best in film, television, music and literature and this year’s edition of the event started on March 22 and will close on Saturday.
