November 06, (THEWILL) – Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on Sunday, received Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and his Abia State counterpart, Okezie Ikpeazu, at the Makurdi Airport.
The two visiting governors arrived the North-Central state ahead Monday’s flag-off of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship campaigns and commissioning of some projects completed by Ortom.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State are also expected in Benue.
Rt. Hon. Titus Tyoapine Uba and Sir John Ngbede, are flying the party’s flag as candidate and running mate respectively.
