BEVERLY HILLS, May 26, (THEWILL) – Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has disclosed why it was difficult to feature regularly at Leicester City FC.
The Nigerian winger in an Instagram live chat with Carol Tshabalala, said the emergence of Algerian winger, Riyad Mahrez, made playing on a regular basis difficult.
“Before they signed me at Leicester City, they told me Riyad Mahrez was leaving.
“If I knew that Mahrez was going to stay, I would not have join Leicester, I would have stayed at CSKA Moscow.
“When I came, we had a lot of wingers at Leicester City, yet, I still got the chance to play,” Musa said.
THEWILL reports that Musa joined the former premier league champions, Leicester City for a fee of £16.6 from CSKA Moscow and he is presently at Saudi Arabia Professional League club, Al Nassr.
