BEVERLY HILLS, May 13, (THEWILL) – A new drama “WhatMenWant,” supported by Seven Up Bottling Company, LIRS, TecnoMobile, Stanbic IBTC, Maggi, LasenaWater and Lifemate Furniture will take the stage in Lagos on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
The drama, which is expected to dazzle Lagosians during the Eid-El-Fitri holiday, is also supported by Merakhi Kitchen, AccelerateTV, The Lagos Review, Creative Kloud HUB, Lasena, MediaCrush, Africa Movie Channel, RoyalRoot TV, TrybeTV and OnTVMax.
According to the Producer of “WhatMenWant,” Mr Oluwanishola Adenugba, the drama is a slice-of-life drama, depicting how the society puts much pressure on women, when to marry and how they must keep the marital fire burning.
Adenugba further stated that the drama also shows the position of husbands in marriage.
“WhatMenWant” examines women’s challenges in marriage while exposing men’s inadequacies and ultimately charging them to just start living, and quit being the only “defender” of a union that involves two.”
The play is hosted by Alliance Francaise in Lagos and features a stellar cast and crew including Diana Agbede and Eferoghene Awusa.
Directed by Ajibola Fasola, the drama is stage-managed by LakeShow and Abisola Olayinka.
The make-up design and costumes were done by Eferoghene Awusa; Ralph Ajayi is the Props and Set Designer while the show will be hosted by Desmond Ekunwe.
