December 09, (THEWILL) – In a shocking development, Alexa.com, a company owned by Amazon, on Wednesday announced it would shut down operations on May 1, 2022, after twenty-five years of operation.
Alexa.com is widely known for ranking websites and providing competitive analysis of internet traffic to the sites.
The statement posted on the website reads: “We will be retiring Alexa.com on May 1, 2022

Alexa.com’s main revenue is from fees it collects from paid subscribers for its services.
