BEVERLY HILLS, March 04, (THEWILL) – Former Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins, wants the lid placed on the altercation that supposedly broke out between him and Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, in the premises of a Lagos club.
THEWILL had reported that Nigerian rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, better known as CDQ, berated fellow singer, Burna Boy, for disrespecting Obafemi Martins.
CDQ had scolded Burna Boy on his Twitter handle on Monday for what he described as “disrespect,” without stating what actually happened between Burna Boy and the football star.
Burna Boy and his boys should apologise to Obafemi Martins, because he was not their mate, CDQ fumed.
Reacting, Martins took to his Instagram account on Wednesday, saying that the issue had been resolved.
He wrote: “According to him, there is always fight and love amongst brothers.
”I have been seeing a lot of allegations online and I don’t appreciate our names being disgraced like this. We had some misunderstanding a few nights ago but this issue has been resolved already.
“There was no fight at bayrock, the club is not even open for clubbing, I just called my boys to talk about the issue there.
“I be shareholder there na, don’t destroy my business o. There is always fight and love amongst brothers. You guys are making too much hype, forget it and carry on. Eko oni baje!”
