July 28, (THEWILL) – A chieftain of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) and two-time gubernatorial aspirant in Plateau State, Sabiu Ibrahim Musa, has called on Nigerians to vote the ruling APC out of power in the 2023 general elections because the party has failed Nigerians by not delivering on its campaign promises.
He said the real problem grating on the electoral fortunes of the APC as the next elections approach is not the Muslim-Muslim ticket, but the woeful performance of the Party at all levels, including not being able to deliver on the programmes in its manifesto.
He said what Nigerians are lacking and seriously stand in need of in this country is effective leadership that will guarantee good governance and improvement in popular welfare.
Sabiu, who is also the North Central Zonal Organising Secretary of the Africa Democratic Congress, said the most critical areas of the APC failure are security and infrastructural provision.
According to Sabiu, the security situation in the country in the last seven years of the APC rule is the worst in Nigeria’s post-independence history and is still worsening by the day.
The security situation in the country currently is so deplorable that peace is absent everywhere, and no one can move around the country now with the assurance of safety.
Sabiu also identified the poor state of public infrastructures such as roads across the country as another vital area in that the APC demonstrated monumental failure and proved that it has no economic agenda or programme to service national economic aspirations.
