December 14, (THEWILL) – The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) says the Authority has created slots for Nigerian carrier Air Peace both at Sharjah and Dubai.
Before now, Air Peace had been relegated to only one slot at Sharjah.
But in a dramatic turn of events, DACAA in a letter issued Tuesday with the title: “Operations of Air Services Between Dubai and Nigeria”, the Authority stated that slots are now available for Air Peace both at Sharjah and Duhai.
The letter with reference number DCAA/ASA/N-3/014 dated 13th December stated “DCAA presents its compliments to the honourable management of Air Peace, Nigeria”.
“Your Excellency, relations between our countries go a long way back and we value these relations immensely. We surely wish to facilitate easy and safe travel for the people, between our two brotherly countries”.
According to the letter, “We write in reference to Air Peace possible/intended operations to/from Dubai Airport, with regard to slot availability at DXB-Terminal 2 and as a gesture of goodwill and in support of UAE and Nigeria relations, in case Air Peace wish to start their flight, slots have been blocked at Dubai Airport.”
