Traffic Diversion As Presidential Election Tribunal Resumes In Abuja

SAN FRANCISCO, May 22, (THEWILL) – The police In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, has stated that there will diversion of traffic as the presidential election tribunal resumes sitting.

In a statement by Anjuguri Manzah, the police said there would be diversion of traffic at the Goodluck Ebele way and Shehu Shagari way leading to the Court of Appeal.

Manzah explained that the measure was taken to beef up security in the area as he apologised for the inconveniences the diversion might cause motorists plying the routes.

“The command wishes to state that the gesture is part of proactive measure to beef up security at the venue and forestall any act that could disrupt the Tribunal sitting,” he said.

“In view of this development, members of the public are advised to use alternative routes to their destinations on Wednesday.”
