August 19, (THEWILL) – The Tor Tiv, His Royal Majesty, Professor James Ayatse, has enjoined the Tiv Gospel Ministers to foster unity among themselves and also partner with colleagues from other parts of the nation and the international community to assist in the realisation of their objectives.
The paramount ruler also charged gospel ministers in his domain to act now on their conviction to carry out God’s mandate.
The Royal Father gave the charge at the 2022 Conference of Tiv Gospel Ministers, (COTGOM), which ended at the New Covenant Christian College, Adaka, in Makurdi local government area of Benue state on Saturday.
He appealed to the organisers to set up a strategy committee to map up plan of action in a document for implementation.
Professor Ayatse stressed that the prophecy that the Tiv people would spearhead end time global gospel revival has been confirmed by several individuals and international organisations who visited him.
In his welcome address at the beginning of the seventh edition of the conference, Reverend Thomas Shikaan, who was chairman of the Central Planning Committee, stated that the event was organised to bring those he described as fathers to ignite and rekindle the gospel fire in the lives of the ministers.
Prominent preachers including Thomas Igyah, Samuel Alaha, Gbile Akanni, Tor Uja, Paul Aule, Ortôô Kwaghterna, Rev Ambe, David Nege, Donald Uke, Terna Iorza, and Joseph Dakor, ministered during the conference.
Others who spoke were Terwase Orbunde, Dondo Ahire, and Mashika Agu.
With the theme “Flames of Fire”, the four-day conference, which attracted 1,040 registered participants, featured musical ministration by Spirit Life Tiv Choir, Rev Alumunku, Pastor Joseph Akerior, Mrs Agwa, Jacob Haaaga and Titus Ichul.
