BEVERLY HILLS, April 06, (THEWILL) – The Office of the First Lady of Nigeria in collaboration with Women and National Development (WAND), a gender-based NGO, will perform the public presentation of the book, Aisha Buhari: Being Different by Hajo Sani, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Women Affairs and Administration.
A statement on Tuesday by Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the First Lady, Aliyu Abdullahi, said the event would be chaired by former Lagos State Governor and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It added that while Mrs. Folorunso Alakija was billed to be the Special Guest of Honour, the book would be reviewed by Prof. Fatai Aremu of the Nigerian Institute of Police and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru.
It further stated that the afternoon session would feature a Summit on First Ladyship, with the theme: Emerging Trends in the Role of the First Lady in National Development.
The Summit is targeted at State First ladies and gender-focused institutions, with Erelu Bisi Fayemi, First Lady of Ekiti State as Keynote Speaker, and Dr. Betsy Obaseki, First Lady of Edo State as Session Chair.
