SAN FRANCISCO, July 07, (THEWILL) – Nigerian author and journalist, Azuka Jebose, has confirmed speculations that the late legendary musician, Majek Fashek, was under some kind of mystical influence through his music career up till his death.
According to Jebose, in a soon to be released biography of the late reggae musician, Majek had disclosed to him that he had read the book of Moses and lived by it until it messed up his mind because he did not adhere strictly to the laws.
The seasoned journalist, who lives in the United States, shared the cover of the book on his Facebook page and wrote: “Jebose, it’s true I read the book of Moses and it affected me because I couldn’t keep the rules of the book. But God saved my life; nor be igbo or ogogoro dey worry me … na the book…I disobeyed the laws of Moses… I am not Moses….God saved my life…I am going through recovery and soon the circles would complete.
“That’s all I can tell you right now: You know say nor be today you know me Jebose, so I nor fit lie to you or hide anything from you. Jah Lives.”
Majek died on June 1, 2020 in a New York hospice after a long battle with an undisclosed ailment.
