September 14, (THEWILL) – Nigerian musician, Terry Apala, said he and his crew were attacked and robbed on Monday while stuck in traffic in Lagos.
Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, the musician stated that the assailants attacked them with cutlasses as they tried to navigate the gridlock on the third mainland bridge.
A voice narrating the incident in the video stated that the suspected robbers carted away their phones after they destroyed their car.
“F*ck it, Nigerians Lagos is not smiling. We were stuck inside Lagos traffic and some guys came out with cutlasses, they took our phones and destroyed the car,” the voice said.
In a terse note accompanying the video, the singer stated that the incident was a distasteful one and he thanked God that he survived it.
“Omo! Yesternight Night was a bitter experience on the mainland, Got robbed with my guys in traffic. Thank God for life though,” he wrote.
