SAN FRANCISCO, December 28, (THEWILL) – Alhaji Shehu Shagari, a former president of Nigeria died Friday in Abuja after a brief illness, his grandson, Bello Shagari announced in a tweet.
The Sokoto born former president Shagari, who governed from 1979-1983, was 93 years old.
