Senate President Saraki Roundly Defeated In Kwara Senate Race

BEVERLY HILLS, February 24, (THEWILL) – Senate President Bukola Saraki of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been soundly defeated in the Kwara Central senatorial race by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Yahaya Oloriegbe.

Saraki lost in all four local governments in the district, according to the official results declared by INEC. His party, the PDP was also roundly defeated in the other two senatorial races in the state by the APC.
