Scores Killed As Gunmen Attack 6 Zamfara Villages

BEVERLY HILLS, March 13, (THEWILL) – Gunmen suspected have attacked six villages in Zamfara state and left scores of villagers dead.

Press Secretary to the Governor, Jamilu Magaji, confirmed the attacks.

A statement by Magaji, said the gunmen attacked Damaga, Jihiya, Shandame, Gidan Runji, Daki Hudu, all in Maradun LGA, and Kizara village in Tsafe LGA.

The State Governor, Bello Matawalle, while condemning the attack, directed security agencies in the state to evolve better ways of curtailing bandits in the state.
