November 21, (THEWILL) – Rev Obiora Ezekiel, the General Overseer and Head Pastor of the Christian Pentecostal Mission International is dead.
Ezekiel who died at the age of 78 allegedly passed on a few days ago after a protracted illness that saw him going off the public space for a long time.
His death which was kept under wraps was revealed by Rev John Ezeh, the pastor coordinator of the Imo State branch of the church.
He is survived by his wife, Rev Dr Mrs Mercy Ezekiel, four children and grandchildren.
One of the daughters who manages a branch of the church in South Africa, Ogechi Ezekiel was once married to veteran actor, Kenneth Okonkwo. The short lived marriage produced a son.
His death comes barely two weeks after Pastor Mrs Yinka Badejo, wife of Rev Wilson Badejo, a former General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church and Pastor Mrs Nomthi Odukoya wife of Pastor Tauwi Odukoya of Fountain of Life Church, both passed on.
