BEVERLY HILLS, June 08, (THEWILL) – Local authorities have reported the death of Reche Caldwell, who was shot in Tampa, USA.
According to reports, the police said that they found the former American football player suffering from a gunshot wound and even though life saving measures were applied to save him, he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Officials stated that they believe that the former footballer was shot by thieves.
“This does not appear to be a random act.
“However, it is very early in the investigation and detectives are working to develop leads in the case. Updates will be provided as they become available,” the police said.
Caldwell’s mother also confirmed his death. “He was a good person who smiled all the time,” Deborah Caldwell told the news outlet.

“He tried to help everyone he could. He was the type of guy who would take his shirt off his back and give it to you.”
His former team, the New England Patriots, also expressed their condolences.
