October 07, (THEWILL) – Popular US singer, Ray J, has reportedly filed for divorce from Princess Love, his wife — in what would be the couple’s third try to end their union in less than two years.
TMZ reports that the 40-year-old singer, who is presently suffering from pneumonia, filed for divorce at the county superior court in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
In May 2020, Princess had also filed to divorce Ray which is four months after they welcomed their second child together.
The couple later halted their divorce plans and spent the summer together in quarantine as they tried to settle their quarrel.
However, in September 2020, Ray sought to split from his wife as he cited irreconcilable differences.
The reason for the singer’s latest attempt is yet to be ascertained as the couple reportedly called off their talks of divorce earlier this year.
THEWILL writes that Ray got married to Princess at Los Angeles’ Cathedral of Saint Vibiana in August 2016 and their union is blessed with two children — Melody Love, their daughter, and Epik Ray, their son.
