BEVERLY HILLS, April 24, (THEWILL) – Nigerian TV presenter and actress, Rachael Bakam, has been buried in Abuja.
THEWILL had earlier reported the death of the media personality and mother of one lastTuesday.
She died from anaemia after suffering a relapse following her initial hospital discharge.
For family and colleagues of the deceased, it was an emotional moment for the family and colleagues of the deceased who gathered at the burial on Friday.
According to Armstrong Bakam, a relative of the late TV presenter, who mourned her demise, saying: “We will really miss her because her death is shocking and devastating news to the family.
“In fact, the whole family is actually troubled and quite a number of people are yet to believe that it is actually true. Quite a number of people felt she was recuperating but the news of her death is a huge shock.
“She was my niece because her father was my first cousin. She was always smiling and she was down to earth.”
THEWILL writes that Bakam is from Fadia Tudun Wada in Zangon Kataf LGA in Kaduna state.
She read English and Theatre Arts at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) and Digital Filmmaking at New York Film Academy.
