December 14, (THEWILL) – Senator representing Cross River Central in the National Assembly under the PDP, Professor Sandy Ojang Onor has joined the 2023 gubernatorial race in Cross River State.
Professor Onor, a fellow of the Historical Society of Nigeria declared his ambition during an early morning mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, Ibom Layout in Calabar.
He was accompanied by a host of supporters who pledged their support to his ambition.
Professor Onor is a former chairman of Etung LGA in Central Cross River State, a former member of the Cross River State executive Council and also a lecturer at the History Department of the University of Calabar.
He is popularly called Caterpillar by his supporters due to his capacity to surmount mounting challenges and is widely seen as a down to earth politician who has what it takes to lead the state.
