BEVERLY HILLS, October 10, (THEWILL) – The Nigeria Police Force, NPF, on Monday paraded the suspected kidnappers of Margaret Emefiele, the wife of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, governor Godwin Emefiele, unveiling as well the N15million naira cash ransom the kidnappers were paid for Margaret’s release.
The police paraded the kidnappers, nine of them at a press conference at Force Headquarters in Abuja, adding that it had kicked off a manhunt for four other accomplices who have been declared wanted.
Those paraded are:
i. Lance Corporal Musa Maidabra ‘M’ 28 years
ii. Lance Corporal Edwin George ‘M’
iii. Ernest Anthony Uduefe ‘M’ 32 years (dismissed Soldier)
iv. Mohammed Abubakar A.K.A Dogo ‘M’ 29 years (Gang Leader)
v. Mohammed Musa ‘M’ 26 years
vi. Mohammed Sule ‘M’ 26 years
vii. Ibrahim Abdullahi ‘M’ 30 years
viii. Aliyu Musa ‘M’ 30 years
ix. Mohammed Yusuf ‘M’ 36 years.
Recall that Margaret was abducted by heavily armed gunmen late Thursday, September 29, 2016 alongside three other women and her driver but the identities of the women are still not known to the public. But one of the suspected kidnappers had earlier explained that they were simply on a random kidnapping operation on Benin-Agbor Expressway.
Other items recovered from the suspects include: two Honda cars, one AK 47 riffle and a fully loaded magazine and one Audi car.
