Police Assure Anambra People 24 Hours Patrol During Easter

BEVERLY HILLS, April 05, (THEWILL) – The Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has promised the provision of 24 hours patrol daily across the state for the protection of citizens throughout the Easter festivities which started on Friday with a public holiday.

The Command Spokesman, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu,who announced this development in a released to newsmen in Awka, said the Command will provide for “Ndi Anambra adequate security with 24 hours visibility patrols.”

He stated that the Command have prepared an elaborate operations order which effectively covers all places of worships, recreation centres, public buildings, flashpoints, black spots and other vulnerable areas in order to ensure adequate protection of life and properties in the state.

Stressing on the mandate of the Command as ordered by the Commissioner of Police, Monday Bala Kuryas, the Police Spokesman, assured Ndi Anambra and residents alike that this year’s Easter period like the previous ones would be celebrated peacefully.
