August 04, (THEWILL) – Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Ogun State, Comrade Yinka Ola-Williams, has said that the citizens of the state are tired of the present administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Yinka Ola-Williams disclosed this in Abeokuta at the official unveiling of Aare Olugbenga Oluyemi, as the party’s gubernatorial deputy candidate in the state.
He urged people to vote for candidates of SDP, as the current All Progressive Congress, APC-led administration had nothing tangible to offer them in face of worsening economy and insecurity.
The chairman maintained that SDP remains the party to beat come 2023 election in the state, because it was the only alternative the people had to save themselves from hardships
He said, “We are confident that the party will win because as it is in Nigeria today, are we not tired, we are confident that the party will win because we are a credible alternative, even in Ogun State, people are tired.”
“Government that cannot give us palliative, are they going to take us from this doldrum, from this bad economy, look at the exchange rate, the economy, the state of insecurity, it is obvious that we need a change on ground”, he added.
