BEVERLY HILLS, July 14, (THEWILL) – Pastor Tola Odutola, a senior pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in the USA, has resigned from the ministry, the world’s largest Pentecostal church, which is headquartered in Nigeria, with Pastor Enoch Adeboye as General Overseer.
Odutola, who disclosed this in a viral video on social media, did not disclose his main reason for quitting, but said he had been in the church for 30 years without getting anything in return.
He announced to his congregation that his branch will henceforth run independently of the Redeemed brand and would be ready for any backlash following his decision.
THEWILL reports that Odutola was the founding Chairman of the Redeemer’s Leadership Institute, RLI, the institute saddled with the responsibility of providing continuous training for Religious leaders.
