December 27, (THEWILL) – A bus loaded with passengers has reportedly plunged into a canal at the Oworonshoki area of Lagos State.
The bus, according to eyewitnesses, lost control near an open field in the area in still unclear circumstances, before plunging into the canal with a yet-to-be-ascertained number of passengers..
Details of the incident were sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
However, efforts are on to rescue the trapped passengers.
