Parties Kick As Kaduna Council Polls Get 4th Postponement

August 02, (THEWILL) – The Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM) has again postponed the local government elections expected to hold on August 14.

The Chairman, KADSIECOM, Dr. Saratu Dikko Audu, disclosed this at the headquarters of the commission during a meeting with political parties and relevant stakeholders in Kaduna, on Monday

Although details about the rescheduled polls were still sketchy, some political parties at the meeting, however, expressed their displeasure with the postponement.

The poll, which had earlier been scheduled to hold on August 14, 2021, will now hold on Saturday, September 4, 2021.

The election was earlier fixed to hold on May 15, 2021 before it was postponed to June 5 and later to August 14 before latest postponement to September 4, 2021.
