Over 480,000 Voters Failed To Collect PVCs In Edo – INEC

SAN FRANCISCO, September 19, (THEWILL) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that over 480,000 voters failed to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in Edo State.

In a communiqué by INEC on the proceedings in Edo State, INEC disclosed that, out of 2,210,534 registered voters, only 1,726,738 would participate in the governorship election.

The communiqué further revealed that 483,796 voters would not be allowed to participate in the exercise because they didn’t collect their permanent voter cards (PVCs).

The Commission also stated that the election will be conducted in 2,627 polling units in 192 electoral wards across the 18 local government areas (LGAs) in the state.
