BEVERLY HILLS, August 03, (THEWILL) – Former Super Eagles defender, Sam Sodje, says Africa’s most expensive footballer, Victor Osimhen, will excel in his new Serie A club, Napoli.
The defender stated this while speaking with Brila.net saying that the move is a good move for the striker and he hopes the marksman settles down quickly.
”I think it is a good move for him, he’s well fit and he had a great season and I think he’s gone now for a big-money move that will make him live up to expectations,” Sodje told brila.
“I hope he gets his first goal very early because it will help him, but talking about being a success in Naples?”
The former West Brom defender said Osimhen will score goals but it all depends on how quickly he settles in Italy, “and I’m sure they will let him settle, they will give him a chance to be comfortable.

“When it comes to his abilities – I think he will be successful and I am so happy for him, the Super Eagles, Nigeria, and Africa at large, to have a player to go for such a big amount of money I think it’s great.”
