However, Napoli’s forward Victor Osimhen, returnee striker Odion Ighalo, and John Noble have yet to be reunited with the rest of their teammates, although they are anticipated to do so later on Tuesday.

Nigeria, who currently leads their group with nine points after four games, is aiming for a seventh World Cup appearance in Qatar, having previously competed in the 1994, 1998, 2002, 2010, 2014, and 2018 editions.

Following the conclusion of the group stage, the winners of all ten groups will compete in two-legged home and away matches to choose Africa’s five flag bearers for Qatar 2022.
