BEVERLY HILLS, October 05, (THEWILL) – Adams Oshiomhole’s vendetta against state governors and politicians that did not support his emergence as national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, continued Friday when he dissolved and expelled members of the Zamfara State executive at all levels from the party.
THEWILL recalls that he blocked governor Ibikunle Amosun’s governorship favourite from emerging as the party’s flagbearer in Ogun State. He is also taking on governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state and blocking his associates from emerging in the legislative races in the state.
“The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled the Party executives in Zamfara State at all levels. By this decision all supposed Party factions in Zamfara State stands dissolved.
“The NWC-inaugurated committee for Zamfara State are to conduct the Governorship and Legislative primaries in the State. Hence, the Zamfara State Governor, H.E. Alh. Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari and the dissolved executives in the state should not interfere in the primary elections in the State.
“The Governorship and legislative primaries will hold from Saturday, October 6, 2018 – Sunday, October 7, 2018,” the APC said in a statement.
THEWILL can also report that some of the primaries conducted by the party across the nation have been rocked by fraud and irregularities.
Nine state governors Thursday met with President Muhammadu Buhari to express their displeasure and dissatisfaction with the process.
