BEVERLY HILLS, September 11, (THEWILL) – Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola will be the candidate of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 governorship election in Lagos State, according to popular columnist and publisher, Dele Momodu.
Femi, a greenhorn, whose father, the deceased Michael Otedola was governor of the state between 1992-1993, accepted the governorship ticket after party leaders offered it to him, Momodu tweeted Tuesday, saying Otedola confirmed the development to him.
THEWILL can however report that the PDP remains weak in Lagos having lost some of its popular leaders to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
