July 26, (THEWILL) – The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Akwa Ibom State Command, has announced the official relocation from the Federal Secretariat, along Aback Road, to her permanent office complex at Atan Offot.
The relocation notice was contained in a release signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASI2 OB Ottor and made available to THEWILL in Uyo on Monday.
According to the release, the permanent site is at plot 14/16, Atan Offot Commercial Layout; opposite Nobles International School.
This announcement became necessary after almost one year in the new location, when it came to the notice of the command that some unscropulus persons have taken undue advantage of the relocation to defraud unsuspecting members of the public, who still unknowingly visit the federal Secretariat for the command’s services.
It, therefore, called on members of the public seeking services of the Nigeria Immigration to visit the new location as directed.
“This is to inform the general public that the Nigeria Immigration Service, Akwa Ibom State Command, has relocated from the Federal Secretariat along Abak Road, Uyo to her permanent site located at: Plot 14/16 Commercial Layout, Opposite Nobles International Schools, Atan Offot, Uyo.
