Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Spikes Past 12, 000

SAN FRANCISCO, June 6, (THEWILL) – The confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria is now at 12, 233 cases after 389 persons tested positive for the disease on Saturday, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, said.

Nine new deaths also occurred to bring the total number countrywide to 342 while 3, 826 persons have recovered as at Saturday.

According to data released by the NCDC, Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, recorded 66 new cases, its lowest in weeks, while the FCT added 50. Delta added 33, Oyo 31, Borno 26 and Rivers 24. See below for further details.
