Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Hits 7261 With 245 New Infections

SAN FRANCISCO, May 22, (THEWILL) – Nigeria added 245 new confirmed cases of the COVID-19 and 10 new deaths from the pandemic Friday to bring the tally nationwide to 7261 cases and 221 deaths, respectively. At as Friday, 2007 persons have recovered from the disease.

According to data released by the Nigerian Center for Disease COntrol, NCDC, Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic, recorded 131 new cases, Jigawa 16, Ogun 13, Borno, 12, while Kaduna, Oyo, Rivers, and Ebonyi added 9 each. See below for a complete breakdown.
