Nigerians Should Be Hopeful – Aderinokun

June 16, (THEWILL) – As Nigerians Celebrate the June 12 Democracy Day, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ogun Central Senatorial District, Olumide Aderinokun, has urged the citizens of the country to be hopeful for a better Nigeria.

Aderinokun, who spoke at the party’s secretariat in Abeokuta, the state capital, charged Nigerians to be hopeful that the country could get better, despite insecurity and economic challenges bedeviling the nation.

He attributed the challenges of poverty, hunger and insecurity facing the nation to the inability of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressive Congress (APC) administration to fine tune strategy of nipping in the bud, the menace in the last seven years.

The PDP candidate, who promised to organise a walk in remembrance of the June 12 martyr, late Chief M.K.O Abiola, in Abeokuta, said that Nigerians should not give up hope on democracy for a better Nigeria.

He, therefore, urged the citizenry to come out en masse on the election day to vote for the candidates of PDP, including Ladi Adebutu, for governor of the state and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as president, and others come 2023 election

“I want to tell them there is hope. I want everybody to be hopeful because we don’t have any other country that we will go to. I have organised a walk within Abeokuta, so we are going to be talking to people about violence in politics and how we should be doing politics. And by God grace Atiku will be the next president”, Aderinokun said.
